She serves as co-chair of Recovery Support Services for the Washington State Legislature (SURSAC), and was nominated as Humanitarian of the Year (2025) by her alma mater. She has volunteered in Africa and serves on mental health nonprofit boards.
Sherri helped lead the development of the first WAQRR-accredited Level II MAT homes in Washington. Together, Frank and Sherri created a national model for compassionate, medically-supported shared housing that is being replicated across the country.
YOU CAN CHOOSE TO INVEST FOR SOCIAL IMPACT AND EARN PASSIVE INCOME IN REAL ESTATE
For more than a decade, we’ve led a national shift in how recovery housing is built and run. Through Kate’s House Foundation and our work at Shared Housing Solutions, we have impacted policy, fought for dignity, and delivered results. Our homes are in beautiful neighborhoods. They’re inclusive, trauma-informed, and rooted in compassion. We don’t evict people in 15 minutes for minor infractions like dirty dishes. Instead, we create housing where people — veterans, those in recovery, and those marginalized by circumstance — are safe, supported, and seen.
We’ve helped change state laws, established the first WAQRR-accredited Level II MAT homes in Washington, and created a proven model for impact investing through real estate. Our model is fully reproducible and funded by local, state, and federal contracts. As a mission-aligned investor, you can generate consistent income while helping solve the housing crisis for those who need it most.
This is more than real estate. This is purpose-built housing that delivers legacy-level returns. Many of our investors use self-directed IRAs or retirement funds to invest in our homes — and we are also approved by Fidelity Charitable for Donor Advised Funds (DAFs). Whether your goal is income, impact, or both, we offer a secure, ethical way to put your money to work.
Some of our partners invest because they believe in the mission. Others donate IRAs to ensure their legacy continues long after they’re gone. Every dollar goes toward changing lives and creating a new standard of care in housing. Together, we are transforming how communities respond to addiction, trauma, and poverty — and building real solutions that endure.

🛠️ We Saw the Gap — and Built the Bridge
Over 10 years ago, we saw a crisis: housing for people in recovery, vets, and foster adults was unregulated and often unsafe. So we did something radical — we invested our retirement into buying single-family homes in Seattle and created a better way.
Today, we house people ages 20–70 in safe, stable, beautiful homes. And our model is being replicated nationwide.
🚍 Education Meets Action
Through our Seattle Symposium + Bus Tour and our Home Study Program, we’ve trained hundreds of students who’ve opened homes across the U.S. — creating cash flow, legacy, and purpose.
💰 The Model: One House, 8 Beds, 8 Payments
Each four-bedroom home is shared housing. Two people per room — that’s eight lives changed, and eight streams of income per home.
We’re funded by state and federal programs, courts, hospitals, and other agencies who provide support while we provide exceptional housing.
